What is coaching?

Coaching is a science-based process for creating lasting positive changes in a person’s life. A coach offers support, guidance, and encouragement, without being judgmental or analytical. Coaching leads to the kind of awareness that enhances your skills for being internally guided and self-motivated.

How does the Exercising WELL coaching work?

In the Exercising WELL coaching sessions, I use this science-based process in video tele-health coaching sessions to apply the Exercising WELL method to your vision for your health and wellbeing. As your clinical exercise physiologist, I will share science-based information about exercise as it relates to what is most important to you right now for your health and wellbeing. I continually balance these two roles so the information about exercise that I share is always directed by your core Why for exercise and your present-moment situations.

Coaching sessions include

  • Video call for 30-60 minutes as needed
  • Written summary of our session and your plan
  • Email support between sessions
  • Resources for putting your plan into action
  • Members: You have unlimited access to a growing library of online videos plus downloadable handouts, and audios. I will send you direct links to make it easy to personalize the resources on your membership site, as well as other resources we discuss
  • Non-member: I will send you handouts and other resources we discuss

Choose a single sessions or package

  • Single sessions works best when you have one single focused goal
  • Four session packages are best for long term goals where you want to stay on track as you progress. They can be used weekly, monthly or quarterly.

Hi, I’m Janet Huehls


Founder and Creator of Exercising WELL, online membership and coaching program. I have over 30 years of experience in medical settings as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist, and understand the challenging journey of trying to get healthy through exercise.

I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to learn how to exercise well:

Know the right way to exercise for their own body

Exercise safely even with arthritis, cancer, heart disease, diabetes, and back pain

Have more freedom to travel, play, and live without their body holding them back

And have the confidence that they can keep themselves motivated to continue exercising throughout life.
